The innkeepers have been welcoming guests to the Schweta inn since 1822. The ‘Wilde Robert’, as the locals affectionately call the Döllnitzbahn, has its stop ‘Schweta Gasthof’ just 100 metres from our inn. Enjoy the Saxon hospitality, spend sociable hours in our parlour (32 seats), in the hall (up to 140 seats) or the outdoor seating under the lime trees. Our spacious outdoor area offers space for children, games and fun. We serve traditional and home-style dishes with fresh cuisine made from regional products.
Gasthof Schweta is happy to organise your celebrations, anniversaries and events; your wishes are both a task and an incentive for the team. Our horses graze behind the inn. Climb aboard and enjoy a carriage ride through our rural region between Oschatz, the Döllnitzaue and the Wermsdorf Forest. By the way, where else can you travel from the Saxon metropolises by train, travel to Oschatz and continue on the narrow-gauge railway to the ‘Schweta Gasthof’ stop to stop off and celebrate, go on an excursion or meet up with friends, acquaintances and relatives.
