In the centre of the Platsch leisure facility in Oschatz, the new hostel offers everything your heart desires, from peace and quiet to active relaxation. Enjoy a break from everyday life in the comfort and hostel rooms. Work off your energy in the indoor swimming pool or on the bowling alley and experience relaxing moments in the sauna village or during a wellness treatment. You will find everything under one roof!
Hostel
You will stay in beautiful, modern comfort and hostel rooms. All rooms have their own bathroom with shower and WC. Hairdryers are also available. Of course, you can use free WLAN in all rooms. There are three air-conditioned comfort rooms on the entrance level, one of which is barrier-free. A double bed, sofa bed and seating area create a cosy atmosphere. The sofa bed can be used to sleep two more people if required. There is also a small lounge area on this level. Six hostel rooms, each with two double bunk beds, seating and a terrace, are available on the swimming pool level. These rooms are perfect for school and club trips as well as group holidays.
Please note that single bed bookings can be made in the six hostel rooms. A hearty breakfast in the silhOuette restaurant ensures a good start to the day. It is also possible to visit the restaurant daily from 12 noon to 9 pm.
Smoking of any substance is prohibited in the entire establishment. Pets are not allowed here. Guests with four-legged friends are recommended to stay in the bungalows at the European Youth Camp Oschatz.

Leisure pool Platsch Oschatz
At the Platsch leisure centre, you will find everything you need to feel good. You can relax in the sauna village with seven saunas and a large sauna garden or with a soothing massage in the in-house wellness area. Swim your laps in the outdoor pool or the indoor swimming pool with 25 metre pool and toddler paddling area and try out the aquacross course, the rope course in and above the water. The modern 4-lane bowling alley provides fun for the whole family and in the silhOuette restaurant you can enjoy burgers, salads, schnitzel and more every day.
Experience Oschatz
You can stay overnight in the Platsch leisure centre and reach all of the city's tourist destinations within a short walk, such as the historic old town, the St. Aegidien town church, the town and scales museum, the Thomas-Müntzer-Haus town hall or the admission-free family, animal and leisure park, the O-Schatz-Park. O-Schatz-Park is also home to the Südbahnhof, the station of our Döllnitzbahn railway.
